Back In Action

I haven't posted in almost a week! There has been a lot going on in Knoxville. I had my PR final last Wednesday and had to turn in a final paper for my Social Theory in Sport class yesterday. It is so nice to be done with classes and have a little break until they start again, May 31st! I'm taking an online statistics class and a PR campaigns class. I'm pretty excited about both of them.

I am leaving for the beach on Friday and I could not be more excited to spend five days at the beach with my two favorite people! (My mom and sis in case anyone didn't know!) It will be a relaxing vacation full of laying on the beach, reading romance books, shopping, and going out to dinner. We are going to Fort Walton which is right next to Destin on the Gulf. I haven't been to a gulf beach since the summer after high school graduation so I'm excited to see the white sand and crystal blue water!

Last Wednesday, I lost a friend and sorority sister. She was getting ready to graduate with a degree in Audiology, had a smile that would instantly light up a room, and an amazingly sweet spirit. There was a candlelight vigil for her on campus Friday night which was heartbreaking and peaceful at the same time. It was amazing to see the number of people whose lives she had touched in her 22 years. She has left her parents and a younger sister and I pray that they will find peace and some understanding with the situation.

Don't forget to make the most of every moment and hold on to the memories you have made!
